Taylor Ann Harpster

Taylor Ann "Tammy" "T-Harp" Harpster, 27, of (North) Philipsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at UMPC Altoona.

Born September 3, 1991 in State College, she was the daughter of John Winston Jr. & Bobbi Ann (Simmons) Harpster of Glass City, Philipsburg.

Taylor was a 2010 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School, attended Juanita College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lock Haven University in 2014 with a degree in Accounting.

In addition to her parents, Taylor is survived by her sister Macy Neideigh and her husband Aaron of Spring Mills, her brother Johnny Harpster III of Glass City, paternal grandparents Janet S. Harpster of Naples, FL and J. Winston Harpster of Crystal River, FL; Aunts Carrie Lyn Hutton and her husband James of Gearhartville and Jody Czap and her husband Michael and their children A.J. and Zack, of York; Uncles Robert L. Harpster and his wife Melissa and their children Savannah and Olivia, of Naples, FL and Douglas Harpster and his children LeiLani and Oliver, of Philipsburg; and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. Taylor was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Harry F. & Norma Jean Simmons.

A funeral service will be held at the First Church of Christ, 1437 Tyrone Pike, Philipsburg, on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ryan Parish & Pastor Anthony Caiola co-officiating.

Taylor will be laid to rest at the Philipsburg Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the Dahlgren-Spewock Funeral Home, Inc., 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Wednesday, January 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and again at the First Church of Christ on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m.
