Thomas Schreffler Obituary

Thomas Z. "Tommy" Schreffler, Jr., 69, of Philipsburg, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his residence.

Tommy was born on May 10, 1955, in Philipsburg, a son of the late Thomas Z. Schreffler, Sr. and Alice E. (Reish) Schreffler.

He was a graduate of the Philipsburg - Osceola Area High School.

Tommy was raised in the Presbyterian faith. He was also a former member of the Chester Hill Volunteer Fire Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tim R. Schreffler.

He is survived by a sister, Dale E. Acela, of Newville, Pa.; a brother, David B. Schreffler and his wife, Joy, of Dillsburg, Pa.; two nieces, Alissa J. Acela and Jocelyn Draugelis (Brandon); four nephews: Michael A. Acela (Christina), Brian D. Schreffler, Eric G. Schreffler and William P. McCreary (Martha Rose); and numerous other extended family members.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
