Audrey Dryer Obituary

MOUNT HOLLY - Audrey Eloise Floyd Dyer, 81, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior early Friday morning, April 18, 2008.

She was greeted by loved ones waiting for her there: her husband, Sam Dyer, Jr.; her parents, the Rev. John and Rosetta Floyd; her brother, Don Floyd; her sister, Rebecca Floyd; and many other friends and family that have gone on before her.

She is survived by her children, Sheila R. Dyer Scarborough and James Dyer (Elaine); grandchildren, Shawna Scarborough, Tif-fany Crystal Widener (Tommy), Jaime Scarborough, Randall Dyer (Sandy), Monica Cunningham (Tim), and Angel Clark (Jason); great-grandchildren, Shayla Scarborough, Jordan and Brody Widener, David Dyer, Tiffany Cunningham, Anna Marie, Hailey, and Lainey Clark; brothers, Johnny Floyd Jr. (Ruth), Roger Floyd (Mary Alice), Carroll Ray Floyd (Vicky), and Mike Floyd (Kathy); sisters, Evelyn Wood, Betty Scott, and Dianne Padgett; sister-in-law, Evelyn Floyd; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a hard worker and retired from American & Efird after 46 years. She was a member at Goshen Free Will Baptist Church for over 60 years and loved being a part of the Sunshine Sunday School class and spending time with those in the Merry Hearts senior group. She loved to sing in the choir and loved working in her yard. More than anything else, regardless of any of life's cir-cumstances, she loved her whole family with all of her heart; each and every one of them, all the days of her life.
