Betty Gill Obituary
She was preceded in death by her brothers Lewis Corry Jr., Isaiah Corry, and Harry Corry.
To cherish in loving memories she leaves her husband of 62 years, Richard Gill Sr.; her children Richard Jr. (Marie) Dorothy Hogue, Marva Sanders (Ricky Sr.), Bobby Gill (Janice); her brothers, Dennis Corry (Mickey), McKinnley Corry (Jackie), Eddie Corry (Catherine); and sisters Geraldine Smith, Lois Camp (Horace), Myra Dukes (Warren), and Margaret "Jean" Lipscomb. She also is survived by six sisters-in-law, Ruby Mungo, Viola Scott (Tilman), Jua-nita Smith, Naomi Parker, Annelle Gill, Laeunice Gill; one brother in law Victor Caldwell; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was a faithful member at Zoah A.M.E. Zion Church in Kings Creek, S.C. for years where she served as a class leader, head of the kitchen commit-tee, and won mother of the year award. She had a very loving spirit had a great relationship with God.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept 13, 2010 at Zoar A.M.E. Zion, Blacksburg, S.C. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to service. Burial will follow the funeral in the church cemetery.

To my family during this difficult time, know that God is there to comfort you and to wipe the tears from your eyes. Cousin Betty will be missed but she is in a much better place now. We are praying for the entire family and we love you all!
