Connie Warlick Obituary
Connie was born in York, S.C. on April 4, 1931, daughter of the late Marcus Hoyle Bridges and Ola Mode Bridges. Connie and her husband, J.W. farmed early in their marriage then she worked at Sweetree in Cherryville. Later she would be a co-owner of the Log Cabin Nursery in Cherryville along with her sister, Melba Willis, caring for children for over 30 years. Connie was
a member of Mary's Grove United Methodist Church in Kings Mountain. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and "caretaker" known to so
many as "Nana." Connie will be greatly missed and remembered always.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John illiam "J.W." Warlick; a grandson, Dustin Mark Warlick and 16 siblings.
Survivors include her three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark Warlick and Dianne; John Warlick and Angela and Jeff Warlick and Nikki all of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Ellen Dixon of Cherryville; eight grandchildren, Chris Dixon (Heather) of Stanley, Kyle Warlick (Misty) of Grover, Katie Head (Eric) of Cherryville, Casey Calhoun (Sara) of Charleston, Tyler Warlick
(Ashton) of Charlotte, Elli Warlick, Hannah Warlick, and Billy Warlick all of Kings Mountain and five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Mary's Grove United Methodist Church and at other times the family will be at the home of a son Mark Warlick, 1515 Martin Rd., Kings Mountain.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mary's Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlene Hutchings
officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Western Carolina Chapter, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215 or to Mary's Grove United Methodist Church, 1223 Mary's Grove Church Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.

Connie was a beautiful a nd true Southern lady , it was always said that you could eat off of Connie Warlicks floors. Never will forget the beautiful pink and white gingham curtains she made for our house as newly weds She was always there to help. Rest in peace dear connie!
