James Crisson Obituary

LINCOLNTON - James Fred Crisson, 75, of 3086 Asbury Church Road, died April 26, 2012.

His funeral service will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Revs. Anita Sain, Mike Devine, and Ed Maddox officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Crisson was born Aug. 14, 1936 in Lincoln County to the late George Alvin and Mary Price Saunders. He worked as an automotive parts manager.

Fred was diagnosed with MS 26 years ago. Fighting this disease, he continued to have a positive attitude and unfailing sense of humor, never com-plaining. He loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Whisnant Crisson of the home; two sons, Dustin Crisson of Denver and Denby Crisson of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Tripper Crisson, Hope Crisson LaVerde and husband Thomas, and Karrigan Crisson.

Memorials may be made to Lincoln County Home Health, 2681 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Crisson family.
