My heart truly aches with you. I enjoyed seeing a glimpse into Jeremy's life through the photographs. I especially loved the one of him and his grandpa playing video games...brought a smile to my face and to my heart as well. I'm so sorry darling friend for all the pain you are having to endure. It's certainly not fair and can never make sense. Please know that I KNOW this journey, how hard it is, and how lonely it can be....but all of us at ForMomsOnly love you, understand, and are here for you whenever and however needed. Jeremy will not be forgotten. His earth life touched so many, and his spirit life touches many more. Peace, love, and healing...your friend, Teri, mother of Kala.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for our family during this time. The wonderful memories that we have of Jeremy will carry us through. He was a wonderful son and I was proud to be his mother. I will miss his laughter and killer smile. He was the love of my life.

I often think about the times when Jeremy and my daughter Brianne would come in from playing, and I would make them some hot tea and tuna sandwiches.

Dan and I enjoyed the time we had with Jeremy. He was a reflection of you and Greg. Remember how he would run to the door in a Santa hat on Christmas day? Help us with the gifts and be so happy to have family? That was the gift you and Greg gave us. The time you gave me and Dan to know him. I am sorry to lose him but he is in our hearts and our memories. Carrie and Dan

Angie... Jeremy was such a joy to our lives. Living so close to Jeremy made him a big brother to Tyler and Kaleb. He took such good care of Tyler when Tyler was scare in Kindergarden, taking him to the bus in the mornings, then walking him to class. He even got out early to pick him up from class and take him back to the bus so he didn't get lost! Sometimes I think Ty still needs that! We will all miss him so much! I will miss our talks at the table, and the "double dinners" he always told he hadn't had yet. I love you all very much, you know where I am if you need anything.

Don, Angie, and extended family,
Words can't even begin to express what we'd like to say and in fear of saying the wrong thing, I'd like to tell you about the several nights he was up at the motel visiting with Maw and me and we got to talking about hunting. Don, you taught Jeremy about the outdoors, how to respect and honor the land and leave it as good, if not better than when you arrived; but this particular night he had asked me about rabbit and squirrel hunting (and the attention he was giving me was as if he was going to have a pop quiz the next day, never missed the first detail), and of course he wanted to know how the best way to prepare it for the supper table.
Wish I could have had the opportunity to spend more time with Jeremy, but in my opinion you guys did right by him, he spoke often and very fondly of the 2 of you.
Ya'll will always be in our prayers, can't help but wonder if he's had time to find Beth (my sister), because if so I'm pretty sure that they've probably already worked out an arrangement with The Good Lord to keep the yards in Heaven forever green.
With our love,
Ted, Lynn, and Dakotah Cox

I met Jeremy through my son Jordan when I visited him at Oconaluftee Job Corps. It is so true that Jeremy never met a stranger. He was so kind and helpful to me and my Mother during our visit. He was truly a loving and giving friend to my son Jordan. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We knew Jeremy while he was a student here at Oconaluftee Job Corps Center. He was a real worker when he was outside and enjoying nature. He helped a great deal around our center and his hard word was appreciated. Jeremy always had a good word and a ready smile. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
