Kenneth Hamrick Obituary
He was born April 4, 1944 in Lincoln County to the late Dewey Creighton and Emma Hawkins Hamrick.
Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Dean, Johnny and Butch.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Kathy Phillips Hamrick; daughters, Scarlett Kay Hamrick of Moravian Falls, Kim Hamrick of Gastonia, Kellie Hamrick Lafar and husband Sean of Surf City, NC; godchildren, Dillon Gooch and Kayla Gooch; brother, Raymond Jerry Hamrick, Sr. of Lincoln-ton; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Pastor Kevin Brinegar officiat-ing.
Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City with military rites by the Bessemer City American Legion Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

I can't put in words what you meant to me.A smile was always on your face even when you were in pain. You stood up for me when i was down and encouraging words were always spoken when i needed lifted up. You were there for my best dearest friend when she needed you and i just want to say thank you.
