Pauline Link Obituary

LINCOLNTON - Pauline Sigmon Link, 83, of 144 Balsam Drive, passed away March 26, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Her funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Bud Jernigan officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 1:45 p.m. prior to service on Friday at the church.

Mrs. Link was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 23, 1924, to the late George and Essie Kate Goodman Sigmon.

She was retired from the Lincoln County School System.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Link; sister, Lillian Summey; and brother, D.C. Sigmon.

She is survived by her sons, Ken Link and wife Thresia and Scott Link and wife Pam, all of Lincolnton; daughters, Vickie Sides and Wanda Dellinger and husband Larry, all of Lincolnton; sister, Joyce Stroupe of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Rhonda Rumple, Greg Sides, Lara Enwall, Kelly Link, Stuart Link and Lauren Link; four great-grandchildren, Landon Rumple, Julianna, Madeline and Natalie Sides.

Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1725 Southside Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.

Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton is serving the Link family.
