Rickie Tanner Obituary
He was born August 28, 1952 to Wilma Beavers Tanner and the late Clifford Walter Tanner.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Brenda Jackson Tanner; mother, Wilma Tanner; son, Rick Tanner, grandchildren, Ricky,III, Harley, Caleb, Kloey and Jaxon; brother, Keith Tanner; sisters, Diane, Jean, Angie and Lori.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 5:00 in the Chapel.

Rickie was family related to Mawmaw Thomas. He went to Bethany Baptist Church,where he and his wife Cookie were Acteens leader. We would have sleepovers, hayride, and swim parties.I also grew up with his son,Little Ricky. He will be missed. My prayers and love are with little Ricky and family.

I am Ricky's first cousin. My Mom, Geneva, was Cliff Tanner's sister. As kids we made many memories with our families even though we were miles apart. My heart aches for your family and you will be truly missed. With love, Claire. ❤
