Steven Beaver Obituary
He was born on Aug. 11, 1951, in Gaston County, to late Walter James and Geraldine Goins Beaver.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Beaver.
Steven is survived by his wife, Ruth Zielonka Beaver of Gastonia; brothers, Larry Beaver and wife Betty of Gastonia, Barry Beaver and wife Phyllis of Shelby; mother-in-law, Martha H. Zielonka; sisters-in-law, Judith Buchanan, Deborah Stringer and husband Eric; brothers-in-law, Daniel Zielonka, David N. Zielonka; nephews, Larry Buchanan, Nathanial Buchanan, Yuri Stringer, Alexander Stringer; Chris Beaver and wife Christy, Tracy Beaver; great-nieces and nephew, Sophia Beaver, Sadie Beaver, Syndi Beaver; Karson, Karmen, Vincent; and Ruth's dog Baby.
His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, in the Sisk-Butler Chapel, with the Rev. Norman Greene officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia with military honors.
