Suzanne Goins Obituary

CHERRYVILLE - Suzanne Beam Goins, 64, of Mary's Grove Road, died Sept. 7, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late William "Bill" Leverette and Margaret "Boot" Quinn Beam. Suzanne was a member of First Baptist Church and employed by Gaston County DSS as a case worker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Billie Jean Theys.

Survivors include her children, Lenny Goins and fiancée, Elizabeth Bartels, of Gastonia and a daughter, Kelly Goins Motz and husband, Brent, of Vale.; and a grandson, Tucker Lee Motz.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Vince Hefner officiating and burial in City Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2-3:45 p.m Sunday at the church and at other times at the home.
