Robert Edward Mix led a rich and interconnected life in Colorado Springs, where he was deeply embedded in the community. Born on May 12, 1936, he dedicated himself to both salesmanship and entrepreneurship. His passing on June 27, 2024, marks the end of an era for his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his son, Jeff, and two daughters, Lisa (Gary) Nemmers and Julie (Rob) Raphael. His legacy extends through eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, a testament to the love and family bonds he nurtured over the years.
The recent losses of his wife, Edith Josephine, on May 4, 2024, and his oldest daughter, Laura Renee Smitherman, on June 5, 2024, undoubtedly added to the family's grief during this time.
Robert's life was also enriched by his sister, Joanne (Paul) Jacobucci. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Mix, and his brother, Richard.
As the community mourns his loss, details about services to honor Robert's life are pending. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the values he instilled in his family and community.

We enjoyed many dinners, golf games and visits with Jo and Bob, great friends. Bob shared many jokes he had picked up in his travels and he was the best teller.
