BERNARD WOZNIAK

North Hatfield, MA — Bernard Stanley Wozniak, 74, of North Hatfield Rd in North Hatfield, MA died April 1, 2022 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He was born in Northampton July 21, 1947 the son of the late Walter Wozniak and Lottie (Paniczko) Wozniak Grusczynski. Bernie's father Walter died when he was younger and he loved his step father Karol Grusczynski as if he was his father.

He Graduated from Smith Academy class of 1965, and from Adrian College in Michigan. He was an accomplished accordion player who played with several local bands. Bernie worked at many local businesses including Rockridge Retirement Community and Greenfield Industries. He was a handy man that could repair anything. Bernie was a farmer who raised asparagus and Christmas trees for sale. He loved Polka music and had an extensive collection of model trains.

Bernie was predeceased by his mother and father, his Step father; many aunts and uncles from the Paniczko and Wozniak families; and Nellie Omasta his longtime loving neighbor and friend. He leaves his Aunt Alice Paniczko Lisewski; lifelong friends Ron and Bob Omasta and many cousins in IL, MA and other states. A Calling Hour will be Saturday April 23, 2022 at the Czelusniak Funeral Home, 173 North St, Northampton, MA 01060 from 9 am to 10 am. An In-House -Service will be held at 10 am.
