Charleen Herron Obituary

Mrs. Charleen Herron, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, was born on February 8, 1959, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee. Her journey through life was marked by love, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to her family. With great sorrow, we announce her passing on November 9, 2024, in the serene surroundings of Savannah, Georgia, leaving behind a legacy of warmth in the hearts of those privileged to have known her.

Charleen's life was beautifully woven with the threads of familial bonds. She was the cherished wife of Robert J. Herron, with whom she shared a partnership grounded in mutual respect and affection. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Jason N. Meyers, Jaime C. Meyers, Robert R. Herron, and Katrina M. Escobar. To her children, she was not only a guiding light but also a steadfast supporter in all their endeavors. Charleen's nurturing spirit and infectious laughter will echo eternally in their memories.

She was the adored daughter of the late Lawrence D. Dickerson and Jesse Jean Dickerson, who instilled in her the values of kindness and resilience. Their love and teachings shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

A graveside service to honor Mrs. Herron will be held on November 13, 2024, at the tranquil Bonaventure Cemetery, nestled in the picturesque Greenwich Section of Thunderbolt, Georgia. The service will commence at 2:00 PM, providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather in remembrance and celebration of her extraordinary life.

Charleen's spirit will forever remain with her loved ones, intertwining their lives with cherished memories of her boundless love and wisdom. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, the imprint of her essence will continue to illuminate the paths of those she held dear.
