Cheryl Geryk Obituary
Amherst, MA — Cheryl Ann Geryk, 63, formerly of Main St. in Amherst, died April 9, 2021 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Northampton on July 27, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Stanley Geryk Jr. and Christina (Melesko) Geryk. She graduated from Northampton High School.
Cheryl lived in a wonderful group home with excellent staffing and enjoyed attending Adult Daycare programs. She enjoyed cooking, watching wrestling and doing many crafts to include making bracelets for her friends and relatives. Cheryl had a great sense of humor and would often entertain those around her. Cheryl will be missed by her friends, family and staff who adored her.
Cheryl is predeceased by her sister Nancy Bakis and her husband Michael. Cheryl has two nieces, Jennifer and Christian and two nephews Tommy and Jason, the children of Nancy and Michael, whom she loved very much.
A graveside service will be held in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Easthampton on Saturday June 5 at 11 AM. CZELUSNIAK FUNERAL HOME has been entrusted with arrangements. For online condolences, please visit Czelusniakfuneralhome.com.
