Cynthia (Cindy) Taylor Price

Westfield, MA - Cynthia (Cindy) Taylor Price passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2023 at the age of 64. Cindy is survived by her three children: AJ and his wife Meghan, Ashley and her fiancé Phil, and Justin. As well as her three sisters and their families: Donna Taylor - husband Danny and children Daniel, Joellen and Katie; Linda Smith - husband Mark and daughters Ruby and Ella; and Diana Damon - husband Mike and children Rileigh and Colby. She is predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Ralph Taylor, nephew James Musante and uncle Donald "Buddy" Powers.

Cindy was born in Northampton, MA on August 7, 1959. She graduated from Northampton High School in 1977. She attended Springfield Technical Community College where she earned her degree in cosmetology. She spent many years as a cosmetologist, in sales selling different exclusive product lines at retail stores including Lord & Taylor, Steiger's, and Macy's. After her first child AJ was born, Cindy became a stay at home mom raising her children. She later started working again as a home health-aide working at Interim and Caring Solutions. There she developed close relationships with all of her clients, taking them out shopping, to eat, and taking care of their everyday needs.

A lifelong passion of hers was artwork, often painting and drawing flower arrangements that caught her eye or portraits of people she loved. Cindy gave back to the community by volunteering at the Forum House. She loved going to the beach, especially family trips to Cape Cod. She enjoyed riding roller coasters at Six Flags. Superman was her favorite ride. Many of the other activities she enjoyed were watching the latest movies, taking long walks, bargain shopping, and always checking in with friends and family.

Above all, Cindy was a devoted mother. She was there for every game, dance recital and major milestones. She would proudly boast about her children and all of their accomplishments. She was vibrant and beautiful inside and out. Her selflessness, sense of humor and kind heart will be cherished and remembered by everyone she met!

The family invites you to her funeral service on Saturday October 7th at Edward's Church, 297 Main Street Northampton, MA 01060 at 11:00 am, and requests you dress to celebrate her life in vibrant colors or florals. Flowers can be sent to the church, and any donations can be sent to Forum House 55 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085.
