NORTHAMPTON, MA - David M. Grodsky (1935-2023), husband, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher, and friend died on March 3, 2023, in Northampton, MA.
Dave was a lover of life, a connoisseur of stories and jokes, a dedicated teacher, and a passionate activist for peace and justice.
He is survived by his loving family, wife Paddy Lane, children Ora Grodsky and husband Jonathan Rosenthal and Jason Grodsky-Guadagno and wife Cindy Guadagno-Grodsky, granddaughters Sasha and Zoe Grodsky, nephew Paul Behrman and wife Adri Taylo-Behrman, grandniece Clara Behrman, cousins Wayne and Claire De la Roche, and Janet Lai, and his cherished community at Village Hill Co-housing.
A graveside service was held at the green cemetery at Mount Toby Friends Meeting.
Donations in Dave's memory can be made to The Center for Courage and Renewal which exists to nurture deep integrity and relational trust, building the foundation for a more loving, equitable, and healthy world.
