Donald O'Brien Obituary
Northampton, MA - Donald V. O'Brien, of Northampton then Brockton, passed away at age 89 on May 18 after months of illnesses. His parents were Earl and Josephine. Don worked at his father's business O'Brien Tires, served in the Marine Corps, and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
His children are Edward, Laurianne, Anthony, Mark, Josephine, Matthew, and Donny from his wives, Marigold Hamlet of Holyoke and Lorraine Sabina of Brockton, who predeceased him.
He was the first Deacon at St. Edward Church in Brockton. His career in the food industry started at the Howard Johnson plant in Brockton and ended at "Love and Quiches" in New York.
In retirement, he moved to Falmouth and married Andrea de Mars who also has seven adult children. They attended St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Falmouth.
Don was predeceased by his brothers John, David, and Richard, and leaves his wife Andrea, sister Joyce Kurkul, many cousins, 14 children, 31 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation Friday May 24 at 9am at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Falmouth, funeral at 10am, burial to follow at Bourne National Cemetery.

So sorry to read of Don's passing. I am daughter to Jennie, Uncle Benny's sister. My Mom and Dad thought the world of Don.
From their stories, Don was a loving husband to Lorraine and loving father to his children. A great sense of humor! Rest I peace Cousin Don.
