Donn Anthony Boulanger Sr.

Cummington, MA - Donn Anthony Boulanger Sr. died peacefully at home beside the love of his life, his wife of 58 years, Susan Barbara (nee Boucher). He left his beloved earthly home and hunting grounds in the woods of Cummington, MA, in search of heavenly ones. He will be joyfully singing for the heavens now.

Donn was the life of the party and was loved by many whether it was with his music, his zest for life, hunting with his buddies, or taking great care of his Electralarm customers. He always had a story to tell to keep you laughing. Donn was a true musician at heart. He sang and performed all through high school and after. Folk music, rhythm and blues, and old country rock were his favorites, and he was often singing a tune no matter what he was doing. He was the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the Yankee Rhythm Band for many years, playing clubs all over the valley. He loved being out in the woods, enjoying nature, camping, especially in the Adirondack Mountains and at Race Point on Cape Cod, photographing the beauty around him, and hunting all over the country every chance he could.

He leaves behind his wife Sue, two sons, Donn Jr. and partner Thomas Vacanti, Matt and wife Barbara, four beloved grandchildren, Aden, Jordan, Liam, and Lexi, three great grandchildren, Mia, Oliviya, and Aria, and his good friend who was like a third son, Shane Wolf. He is also survived by his sisters Terry Gaspari, Barbara Jean Boulanger, and their families. He is pre-deceased by brother Kris and sister Andrea.

Donn will be greatly missed by countless friends and family.

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Donn's life on Saturday February 10 from 12-2PM at Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant Street, Easthampton.
