Esther A. Pyrczak, age 79, of Revell Avenue, Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20th, embraced by her loving children, Jennifer and Daniel. Born to Paul and Alice Scholtz in Northampton, Esther was predeceased by her devoted husband of 36 years, Peter Pyrczak. She will be deeply missed by her four children: Paul Boucher of Tampa, FL; Jennifer Boucher Colon of Easthampton; Daniel Boucher Jr. of Northampton; and Alice Boucher of Dallas, TX, as well as her five grandchildren: Savannah Colon, Skylah Colon, Sabian Colon, Dante Boucher, and Jacob Boucher, and seven great-grandchildren: Novaleigh Haskell, Oliver Haskell, Lilah Mae Haskell, Weston Colon, Sierra Colon-Tavares, Trent Churchill, and Miley Churchill.
Esther earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Smith College. She enjoyed a distinguished career as an analyst and coder with Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. A long-standing member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Esther was a woman of remarkable talents. She was a gifted musician that excelled at the piano and later discovered a passion for the harp. She loved crafts and bringing joy to her loved ones with beautiful homemade cards and thoughtful, personalized gifts. She also enjoyed a variety of activities over the years, including tap dancing, tai chi, and cake decorating.
Esther was affectionately known as "Eames" by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren-a special nickname that remains dear to them. She was kind, generous, and loving. She cherished spending time with family, and the special bonds and fond memories she created will live in our hearts forever.
Family and friends are invited to honor Esther's life at Czelusniak Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 25, with calling hours from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Church on Beacon Street in Florence, with burial immediately after at St. Mary's Cemetery in Northampton. To leave condolences online, please visit
