Gloria Gagnon Obituary
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Alexander A. Gagnon. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Glen A. (Barbara) Gagnon of Easthampton and Gail A. (Gerald) Noonan of Falmouth, six loving grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Ernestine (Beliveau) Beauchemin and her brothers Ronald and Richard.
She worked at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton for years and the Delaney House in Holyoke.
Gloria was a consummate reader and movie lover and she enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to the Holy Land and Medjugorje.
She had an unwavering faith in God and was a communicant of St Anne's Church in Chicopee??????? and St. Catherine's in Leeds where she shared her beautiful voice as soloist in the choir for many years.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 19 from 1-4 p.m. at Messier Funeral Home,
1944 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA. Her funeral will begin on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. from Messier's with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at Our Lady of the Cross
Parish in Holyoke. The interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Haydenville. For more details please visit www.messierfuneralhome.com.
