Judy Wirth Obituary

ATHOL - Judy Wirth, an Athol, Massachusetts, resident for 49 years, died Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the age of 74.

Wirth was born July 31, 1942, in Northampton. She graduated from Amherst Regional high school and the Franklin County Hospital School of Nursing. At the time of her passing, she was retired from her work as a pediatric nurse at Athol Memorial Hospital. She was also an active member of the Athol Congregational Church.

Wirth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. Wirth, Jr, sisters, Carlotta and Dale, and parents, Harry Stevens and Doris Mae Stevens.

Wirth is survived by her son and his wife, Stevens and Dawn Wirth, Athol; her son and his husband, Eric and Paul Specht-Wirth, Easthampton; two grandchildren, Keira Wirth, Athol, and Xavier Wirth Botelho-Hass, Holyoke.

In fulfillment of here wishes, Wirth's remains were donated to the University of Massachusetts Medical School's Anatomical Gift Program. A memorial celebration will be held Wednesday, July 5, at Athol Congregational Church, with calling hours beginning at 1 p.m., with a service and reception at 2 p.m.
