I am heartbroken to learn of Kim's passing. We were friends during hard times in the 1990's, and did what we could within our circle of friends to help each other. He was an inspiration to me and I have been trying to reconnect with him for several years following a move out of the country. A difficult shock to find his name in the obituaries. But Kim's spirit and love are here now and always will be, all around us, reminding us of love, compassion, gentleness, creativity, integrity, and the quiet joy that is the inner nature we all share, and that Kim shone on all of us. Rest in peace my dear brother.

I knew Kim for several years. To know Kim is to know that he is first and foremost a good and decent man. He was interesting, engaging and full of life. I was sad when he disclosed his diagnosis. Kim never flinched in the face of a very serious illness. He stared it down with bravery until the end. I miss Kim's presence and I extend my condolences to his family, especially his Mom as no parent should ever have to write the obituary for their child. I wish it were the other way around.

Kim's passing was very sad for me. I had come to know him fairly well in the last few years. He was a gentle soul and a good man. He walked a spiritual path in life and I spent many hours listening to him share that experience. I saw it in him as he faced this terrible illness with courage that was so very admirable and inspirational. My sincere condolences to his loved ones. He will be missed.

Heartbroken to find this obituary; I have been thinking of Kim for several days and just looked online to discover that this was published today. No words can adequately express my sense of loss but I wish this dearest old friend Godspeed as he wends his way home, and send sincere sympathy to all who loved him.
