Malcolm Fiske Obituary
Hadley, MA - Malcolm (Mal) A. Fiske, 86, passed away peacefully on August 8th at his home in Hadley. Malcolm was born on January 1, 1939 to the late Eunice and Arthur Fiske. He attended school in Montague Center and Turner's Falls High School. He also attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture at UMass. After graduating from college, Malcolm joined the Air Force and was stationed in England where he met his wife, Kathy. They were married in England in 1963 and returned to the States in 1964 and settled in Montague Center. In 1967 they moved to Hadley.
Malcolm worked for nearly 30 years in the Administrative Data Processing Department at UMass retiring in 1994. For many years he enjoyed their yearly visits to Cape Cod with the whole family, trips to Maine and the family cottage in New Hampshire.
Malcolm is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Kathy, sister Lorraine and husband Jim of Portsmouth N.H. and her daughters Gerri and husband Dave of Temple N.H. and their children Hamp and Matt, and Becky and husband Dave of Windham N.H. and their children Olivia and Piers.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses and VNA & Hospice at Cooley Dickinson for their care of Mal. Also, Kathy would like to thank Betsy and Scott for all their help and support over the last year. Czelusniak Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours and funeral services for Malcolm will be private, per his wishes.
