Southampton, MA - MICHEL R. LALIBERTE, 74 of Southampton, Mass., passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. Born in Sherbrooke, QC, Canada on April 15, 1951, to late Omer and Diana (Laprise) Laliberte. He moved to Springfield, Mass., in 1962.

In 1972, he married his beloved wife Judith A. Reome and shared 46 wonderful years until she passed in 2018. His passion for building led him to a lifelong career in construction, owning Michel Laliberte Construction, specializing in building log homes in and around the Berkshires. He enjoyed many years at his summer home in Lake George, NY.

He will be deeply missed by his son, Mark, and his loving grandson, Jack. He leaves his sister Francoise Baker of Manchester, CT, sister Renee of Florida, brother John and wife Donna of Ellington, CT, sister Jeanne and husband Joseph Lucia of Willington, CT, sister-in-law Anne Laliberte of Colchester, CT, brother-in-law Douglas Preston of Victory, VT., also, his brother-in-law Robert Reome of Springfield, MA, sister-in-law Carol Laterreur.of Florida, brother-in-law Lee and wife Sue of West Springfield, MA. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, friends, and loved ones, including Stacey and Alison, whose presence and support meant a great deal to him.

He was preceded by his siblings Pierre, Maurice, Nicole, Helene, and Ginette, brother-in-law Andre Levesque, and his in-laws Albert and Ortrude Reome and Gisele Reome.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday August 24, 2025 at Boucher – O'Brien Funeral Home 7 Pleasant St from 12 Noon to 1:30. A funeral home pray service will be held at 1:30PM.
