Murial Laflamm Obituary
She was born March 18, 1928, in Easthampton, the daughter of Leonard and Ada (Maycock) Gravel. She attended Easthampton schools and graduated from Easthampton High School class of 1945.
She was employed by the former Sanders Insurance of Easthampton, and worked for the Hotel Northampton for 22 years.
Murial was married to the late Eugene Laflamm who passed away in 2002. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and a pitch player for the V.F.W. league for many years. Murial loved square dancing and was member of the former Beau and Bells of Easthampton.
She is survived by one daughter, Gail J. Laflamm of Easthampton; four sons, Walter H. (Gail), Harold W. (Barbara), and Donald A. Laflamm (friend Bette), all of Easthampton, and Philip L. (Lydia) of Bernardston; a sister, Doris Grala of Florence; several nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by two brothers, Leonard A. of West Springfield, and Richard A. of Easthampton, and one sister, Elizabeth P. Blanchette of Northampton.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, March 1, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. in the Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Memorial gifts in Murial's memory may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 701, Northampton, MA 01061, or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Natick, MA 01760.

I was a high school friend of her daughter and spent time in her home, she was always so wonderful to me, and thru the years I would run into her, always she was a pleasure, I truly loved her, she was a wonderful woman
