Richard Dupre Obituary

RICHARD DUPRE

GREENFIELD, MA - Richard Dupre (57), son of Fukiko Dupre of North Hatfield and the late Norman Dupre, passed away April 24th after a brief illness. Richard resided in Greenfield, Mass, with long-time caregivers Chris Arena and Tom Paquette. Richard had been living his best life with Chris and Tom. He enjoyed spending time with friends Joe and Alonso, eating out with family and friends, and listening to his favorite Olivia Newton-John CD in the car. He enjoyed camouflage clothing, new watches, and his favorite pulse oxygen monitor. He was known for his catch phrases "Gotcha!" "Here I am!" and "I know that!" In addition to his mother, Richard is survived by his brothers Edward (wife Sharon) of Florence, MA, and Stephen (wife Laurie) of Upton, MA Beloved Uncle to Edward Dupre, Stephanie Salvini, Robin and Rachel Dupre, and Great Uncle to Zackary, Waylon, and Lexie Salvini The family will have a private graveside service. Richard's brothers and his mother, Fukiko, would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Faruma Williams of Pathlight for bringing Tom and Chris into Richard's life. Dear Fukiko and family, I was so sad to read that Richard passed away. It was a privilege to be his Service Coordinator for a number of years at the Northampton Office. Kiko, I know you have many, many wonderful memories to keep close to your heart. My thoughts are with you.
