Arulanthu Jeya Pandian died Friday in Corvallis. He was 86.
He was born on a tea plantation in Sri Lanka. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 1962. He worked in private practice for 17 years in Dayton, Wash., retiring in 1986. He moved to Corvallis in 1993.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mercy of Corvallis; daughters, Juno of Lebanon and Healia Palmer of Portland; sons, Verson of Bend and Raj of Salem; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.,Tuesday, May 4, at McHenry Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
