James Oleman died Sunday at home in Corvallis, following a prolonged illness.
He was born in Tacoma, Wash., to Dorval and Marilyn Oleman. Jim was a longtime resident of Corvallis. For more than 43 years, he was a member of the local Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a congregation elder, he used his time and resources to help members of his congregation and community. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn, and son, Matthew.
Services will take place at 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1330 S.W. 35th St., Corvallis, OR 97333.
