April Roenneburg Obituary
April was born on May 22, 1943 in Lockport, NY the daughter of Elwood and Lois May (Coffey) Fahs.
She married Gerald Roenneburg on March 8, 1963 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
April enjoyed reading, going to the casino with her husband, bowling, cross stitching and was an avid Elvis fan. She also served her country in the U. S .Marine Corp.
April is survived by her husband, Gerald of Janesville; her sister, Babette (Clifford) Oliver Haggenjos of California; two brothers, Charles (Carol) Amsdill of New York and Lewis (Elizabeth) Oliver of South Carolina and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
April was preceded in death by mother, Lois May Coffey Oliver and her father, Elwood Fahs who was killed in action during WWII; her son, Marc Alan Roenneburg; her grandparents, Sanford and Florence Coffey and a nephew, Steven Oliver.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the family in her memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the Bass Creek Golf Club, 1303 South Murphy Road, Janesville (Footville) from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead is assisting the family with arrangements.
