Dean Kaehler Obituary
Milton, WI - Dean Allen Kaehler, born August 1, 1959, in Edgerton, WI to Howard and Carol (Langedyk) passed away on November 14, 2025 from melanoma cancer. Dean grew up in Milton and graduated from Milton High School in 1978. After high school he went on to work at R&W Heating & Cooling for 40 years. A few years later Dean married Joleen Zink on August 14, 1982 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton, WI.
An avid outdoorsman, Dean found his greatest happiness in the woods. His greatest passions were bow hunting and trapping. He also especially enjoyed hunting alongside his dogs, whether beagles, coon hounds, or labs. In recent years, his loyal labrador Ember brought him joy, both in the field and at home. Dean enjoyed the stories and friendships that came from his experiences in the outdoors. He took pride in opening his land to others and loved seeing family and friends succeed in the outdoors. When not hunting, Dean could often be found in his garden or tending to his chickens. He loved sharing fresh vegetables, eggs and gardening advice with family, friends, and neighbors. His kindness and willingness to help others were constants throughout his life.
Dean is survived by his wife, Joleen; his son, Jordan (Mel); his siblings, Debbie (Dale) Ricksecker, Brian Kaehler, Todd Kaehler, and Shelley (Dave) Nofsinger; his mother-in-law, Rita Zink; his brother-in-law, Ted (Nancy Ehley) Zink; and his sister-in-law, Trisha Zink. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews-Ryan, Morgan, and Dalton Nofsinger; Dan, Jeremiah, Rachel, and Miranda Clift-as well as his buddy, Lane Nofsinger, his great nephew, who he enjoyed going for walks and gator rides with .
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Carol, his sister Carla Witte, and his father-in-law Eugene Zink. Above all, Dean will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and joy he found in nature, friendship, and family.
