Doris Stowers Obituary
Sheen was a lifelong Rock County resident. She worked at Parker Pen and was the last to walk out the door on their final day of operations. Doris also worked as a teachers aid, nannied four dear children, and cleaned houses until retirement.
Doris was a member of St. Mary of Immaculate Conception in Milton. Devoted in her faith she continued to attend Mass daily from home when she was no longer able to attend in person. She will be especially remembered for her class, modesty and love. She enjoyed daily walks with her granddog, spending time with her St. Patrick friends, gardening and watching NCIS. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished time spent with them. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed dearly.
Doris is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Albert Stowers; sons: Jody (Pam) Stowers, Kirk Stowers and Allen Stowers; grandchildren: Megan Brown, Matthew Brown, Caleb Stowers, Karly Stowers and Shawna Stowers; granddogs, Dexter and Shoresy; sister, Veronica (Don) Henrickson; brothers-in-law, Jim and Gary Stowers and numerous other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Stowers; grandson, Nicholas Stowers and siblings: John Doran, and Evelyn (Jim) Calvery.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME with a visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Agrace Hospice. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL DIRECTORS is assisting the family.
