Louis Deringer Obituary

Janesville, WI - Louis A. Deringer, age 69, passed away at Mercy Hospital on April 5, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1955, the son of Allen and Grace (Morris) Deringer. He graduated from Craig High School in 1973. Lou married the love of his life Pamela (Steindl) Deringer on October 19, 1985.

He was a lifelong resident of Janesville and worked on the assembly line at General Motors until retiring in 2009.

Lou was a faithful member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses having been baptized in 1982. He dedicated 42 years to his faith and ministry. Lou's commitment to his faith was evident till his final days. He loved tending to his vegetable garden, biking, and spending time with friends and family. Lou was a family man, always there for the people he loved. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

Lou is survived by his loving wife; sister, Kay (Dennis) Eckert; 4 siblings-in-law: Diane (Jeffrey) Schade, Cynthia (Kim) Manhart, Dale (Bonnie) Steindl, and Rebecca Iverson; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and numerous other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law; and sister, Donna Bunderson.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 13, 2025 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 4129 E. Bingham Rd., Janesville, WI with a visitation at 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
