Mary Venable Obituary
She was a devote catholic and a member of Nativity of Mary Parish, Janesville where she was in the prayer network. She was also in the Shamrock Club of Janesville being President for 2 years and volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Mercy. Mary Ann enjoyed cross stitching, baking, and working at Castaways.
Mary Ann is survived by her children: Patrick Venable, Joseph (Ruth) Venable, Michael (Jennifer) Venable, Catherine Eccles, Patricia (John) Gourley, and Timothy Venable; her grandchildren: Dan, Mark, Brooke (Arick), William (Micky), Vanessa, Amanda (Todd), Andrea (Steve), Jessica (Chuck), Cody (MacKenzie), Kelsey (Nicole), Hannah, and Neil (Samantha); 16 great grandchildren; and brother-in-law Bob Mies. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Dennis Venable; son-in-law John Eccles; and her siblings: Harold (Jeanne) Boos, Catherine (Jerry) Thomas, and Jean Mies.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at NATIVITY OF MARY PARISH, Janesville, burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at NATIVITY OF MARY PARISH. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Doctors Without Borders.
