Mary Yoss Obituary

Janesville, WI - Mary Ellen Yoss, of Janesville, Wisconsin, passed away on February 1, 2026. Mary Larson was born on March 29, 1931 and lived in Janesville all her life. She was the youngest child of Albert and Dorothy Larson. Predeceased were her brothers Roger, Robert, and Cliff, and her sisters Lucille Berger and Doris Daskam.

She married Clarence Yoss in 1964. Clarence died in 2013. Mary moved to an apartment for seniors shortly after and spent many of the rest of her days with dear friends sharing meals and keeping each other entertained with games and social events.

When Mary and Clarence married they brought together their nine children. Surviving children are Richard Millis, Robert Millis, Timothy Millis, Cher'rie Yoss, Mark Millis, Denise Meyer, and Sue Bargender. Two daughters, Vicki McConochie and Kris Mawhinney have passed. Also included in this large family are Rita Millis, Jodi Millis, Paul Meyer and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mary and Clarence welcomed everyone into their home and considered everyone family.

Mary worked a few jobs over the years. Her longest one was selling the beloved cream puffs and pastries at Rollin' Pin Bakery. She loved serving all the regulars there and was sad when the bakery closed down. She rarely indulged in the treats because she was always watching her waistline. She loved nothing more than a hot summer day basking in the sun.

Mary lived a good life for almost 95 years. We will say goodbye to her remains on a warmer day in the near future. We will miss you, Mom. Rest peacefully. All Faiths Funeral and Cremation Services of Janesville assisted the family. Online condolences may be made at: www.866allfaiths.com
