Mona Jean Ennis

1942 - 2025

Sharon, WI - Mona Jean(Fick) Ennis 83 of Sharon WI passed away July 26, 2025. Mona was born April 28, 1942 in Hillsboro Wi to Russell Fick and Armita (lutz) Fick.

She attended Wonewoc schools and Graduated from Wonewoc high school in 1960. After graduation she moved to Madison Wi and worked for American Family Insurance where she met the sailor she loved and married on October 14,1961. Mona worked at several area banks, creating a career that lasted 45 years finally retiring at the ag of 72. Mona was a member of the Lions Club and a member of the Sharon Fire and Rescue Auxiliary. She loved to read, garden and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed long rides with Ray through the countryside looking for wildlife and enjoying nature's beauty. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends

Mona is survived by her husband Raymond J Ennis of 63 years; 2 children were gifted to this marriage, John(Susan) Ennis of Elkhorn WI and Jo Ann(Steve) Showen of Rockford IL; siblings Steve(Jan Erwin) Fick of Wonewoc WI and Sherry Ward of Germantown WI; grandchildren Zach(Kelly) Kerby, of Beloit, Sarah(Tim) Cartland, of Madison, Samantha Ennis, of Madison, Matthew(Ashley) Kerby of Loves Park, IL, Hannah (Kyle Nash) Baker Genoa City WI; great granddaughter Audrey Fearne Kerby; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth. The Funeral Service will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home and a luncheon at Christ Lutheran church in Sharon following the service.

Burial will be on Tuesday at St. Theresa Cemetery in Union Center.
