Robert J. Lueck

1934 - 2023

Janesville, WI - Robert J. Lueck, age 89, died Tues., August 29, 2023, at Oak Park Place. He was born on February 24, 1934, in Janesville, the son of Charles George and Mabel M. (Weber) Lueck. He married Laura E. "Bonnie" (Ganley) Lueck on August 1, 1953, in Janesville. Robert served our country in the United States Army and then worked for General Motors in the paint department for 40 years, retiring in 1991. He was an avid outdoorsman and could be found hunting or fishing. Robert found his true calling at Blonhaven Hunt Club working with pheasants and fellow hunters. He most enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two daughters, Sheila (Bryan) Riley and Linda (William) Wyss, both of Janesville; grandchildren, Rhea (Aaron) Brunette and Christian (Mandi) DeCremer; great-grandchildren, Ava Locast and Asher DeCremer. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Kenneth Lueck and Donna Sime.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Schneider Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Garden of Hope Mausoleum. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Schneider Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice and the staff at Oak Park Place for the care of their father.
