Sharon Lauderdale Obituary

Elkhorn, WI - Sharon M. Lauderdale age 74 of Elkhorn, WI, died at St. Luke's Medical Center of Milwaukee on Thursday, September 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. Sharon was born in Burlington, WI, daughter of the late A. Paul and Marion (Huening) Spiegelhoff. Sharon married Richard "Dick" Lauderdale on November 29, 1975, at St. Charles Catholic Church of Burlington, WI. They together raised their family and built their life of faith and devotion to each other. Sharon had a great love for anything involving needlework, quilting, sewing, and crafting. Her talents and interests helped her with the success of her business, Sawdust & Stitches.

Sharon will be missed by a large and loving extended family, most especially her husband; Dick; children: Brian (Anna) Lauderdale, Curtis Lauderdale, James Lauderdale, Matthew (Nicole) Lauderdale; grandchildren: Joshua, Elis, Madalyn, George; siblings: Steven (Arlene) Spiegelhoff, David (Kathy) Spiegelhoff, and Donna (Dale) Rogahn. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents.

Her warm laugh and generous spirit will be missed by so many!

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 107 W. Walworth Street Elkhorn, WI at 11:00AM, with lunch to follow. Visitation will take place before mass beginning at 9:00AM. Sharon will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sharon's name to St. Patrick's Parish. An online guest registry can be found at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com. Sharon's arrangements are under the direction of Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI.
