Timothy Gille Obituary
Tim was born on June 18, 1956, in Janesville to Paul P. and Mary (Holland) Gille. On February 29, 1992, he married the love of his life, Renee DeRemer, in Janesville. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Tim worked for many years at General Motors as a training coordinator. A skilled craftsman and carpenter at heart, he loved building and creating with his hands. Tim had a passion for fishing and traveling, especially enjoying the many winters he and Renee spent in Belize. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Renee Gille; two sons, which were his pride and joy: Tanner (Brooke) Gille and Cole (Nicole) Gille; and two beloved granddaughters: Dillan and Harper. He is also survived by his siblings: Charlotte (Gordon) Dresdow, Deborah (Charles) Graupner, and Patrice Gille; mother-in-law Barbara Mathews; father-in-law Spencer (Stacy) DeRemer; brother-in-law Chris (Tonya) DeRemer; sister-in-law Donna Gille; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary; his siblings: Mark Gille, Patrick Gille, and Colleen Gille; and his stepfather-in-law, John Mathews.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at APFEL WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, 21 S. Austin Rd, Janesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice, 1225 Remmel Dr, Johnson Creek, WI. Online condolences may be shared at www.apfelwolfe.com
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and cared for Tim throughout his illness.
