Carol M. Lange
December 22, 1934 - April 7, 2021
Carol M. Lange passed into the arms of her heavenly father on April 7, 2021, at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction, following a short illness.
She was born in Hotchkiss, Colorado, on December 22, 1934, to Floyd and Victoria Dooling Jenkins. She spent her childhood in Grand Junction and graduated from Central High School. She married the love of her life, Dale A. Lange, on September 14, 1952, and celebrated 64 years of marriage before his passing in 2017.
Carol was a homemaker for most of her life however, she worked for Coors Tech for ten years before retiring. Her favorite past times were reading, word search puzzles, sewing, crocheting and special gift projects. Her special gifts will be cherished and remembered by those who received them.
Dad and Mother also enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, bowling and exploring together. One of their life highlights was a road trip to Alaska which took several weeks and they were able to mark it off their bucket list.
Survivors include daughter, Linda (Mike) Barley, of Grand Junction; sons, Dale F., of Whitewater; Roger, of Grand Junction; Dwaine (Debby), of Mack, and Brian, of Caldwell, Idaho; 16 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; five sisters; brother; grandson, and great-grandson.
Visitation and slide show presentation will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, at Martin Mortuary. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m., at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life after the graveside at Mack that you are invited to attend. If you like, please bring a covered dish and a lawn chair.
