Don Munger Obituary
August 14, 1951 - August 16, 2017
Longtime resident of Grand Junction, Don Munger, passed away at HopeWest Hospice.
He was born to Carl and Betty Munger in St. Joseph, MO. He graduated from high school in Broomfield, CO, and attended Western State College.
He was a drywall contractor for 40 years, working in Vail, Telluride and Grand Junction. Don married Danise Thornburg on June 21, 1985, at the Telluride Blue Grass Festival.
He loved boating at Lake Powell and working on the property he treasured.
He is survived by his wife, Danise; his step-children, Natalie, Tonya (Tom), and T Vance (Robin); mother, Betty Munger; brother, Bob (Amy), and his mother-in-law, Evaline. His is also survived by seven grandchildren, a very large family of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, and a wonderful circle of friends.
An informal memorial of family and friends will be held at a later date.

Don was a good person to so many friends and family. I enjoyed knowing him in high school and can only let Don's family know that I am praying for them all.
