Douglas Paul Wolf

November 29, 1958 - April 13, 2021

Doug Wolf joined the heavens unexpectedly on April 13, 2021. A brief illness that impacted multiple organs took his life here on earth. His spirit is carried on by daughters, Shelby, Nikka, and Mallory; girlfriend, CJ Nelson; sister, Melinda DeBruhl; mother, Iris Jean Wolf; best friend, Chuck Netherton, and an extended group of family, friends, colleagues and neighbors.

Doug was known for his fist bumps, good taste in music, and befriending everyone he met. Doug, a longtime employee of Whitewater Building Materials, was also known by many as the "Mayor of Concrete" in Western Colorado. We know he'll be enjoying whatever lies next - perhaps driving fast cars, inventing new dance moves, and reuniting with his late father, Ivan Paul Wolf.

Please join us on Saturday, May 8, at 11:00 a.m. MT at Callahan-Edfast to celebrate a life well lived. Doug's favorite color was orange, in honor of him, please feel free to wear something with orange to his services.

If you'd like to contribute in honor of Doug, feel free to donate to Roice Hurst Humane Society (where he got his big brown dog, Chester) or another charity of your choice.

I was fortunate to have known Doug since I started my career in testing 20 years ago. He was helping with ACI when I first met him and he was so kind and had such a fun and caring demeanor. The CDOT Materials lab and myself will miss him greatly. Rest in Paradise Doug!
