Eleanor Tatum Obituary

Eleanor "June" Tatum June 21, 1942 - December 9, 2024 Eleanor "June" Tatum passed away December 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. She was 82.

June was born on June 21, 1942, in Grand Junction, Colorado, from the union of George and Opal Mae Henderson. She graduated from Central High School, where she met the love of her life, James "Jim" Tatum. She later attended the American Beauty Culture and obtained her degree in Cosmetology, although she practiced this profession long before graduation.

She and Jim enjoyed the simple beauty of living, and she will be greatly missed.

June is survived by her husband, James "Jim" of Grand Junction; two daughters, Julie (Greg) Chavez of Silt, Colorado, and Jennifer Tatum of Grand Junction; her sister, Ginny (Kris) Frame of Montrose, Colorado; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Nadine, Coty and Maddison; and three great-grandchildren, Christian, Carson and Beringer. All of whom will cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Mancuso, and brother, Michael Henderson.

A celebration of her life will be held in the Spring of 2025.
