Dear Mary, Tracy and Family,
Jack was one of the best men I have had the honor of knowing.Jack gave me a job at a good wage, in a city where a good job can be hard to find. He treated me like family and taught me a great deal. He was a remarkable man that had many skills: electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, machine work he could do it all and do it well. I think his best talent was his judge of character. Jack could look a man in the eye and tell right away if you were worth a squat. As a man he was thoughtful, humble, and forgiving. Jack took good care of his employees and understood if you needed to take time off to take care of your family or yourself. I remember one time I was sick as hell and had already missed 2 days that week with the flu, the shop was way behind but he took one look at me and said go home I can tell your still sick as hell you dont need to be here. I thanked him and went home to bed. Jack also believed in Christmas and made sure we had a bonus if it was at all possible. He loved kids you could easily tell as anytime there was a child around he had a big ole' grin and a twinkle in his eye. I know for a fact God has a place for Jack in heaven and when I get there I will be looking foward to seeing my old boss, my mentor and mostly my friend. I love and miss you.
