Michael Leroy Garner

September 1, 1948 - November 6, 2022

Michael (Mike) Leroy Garner, September 1, 1948 - November 6, 2022. Mike was born in Larned, Kansas to Earl Warren Garner and Margie Emmiline Johnson.

His siblings are Doy A. Garner and Saundra K Goss. Mike passed away with his family by his side from a battle of cancer.

He was an Army Vietnam Veteran who served there from 5/1968 - 12/1969. He was retired at 70 and was very excited to spend more time with friends and family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, eating and the Broncos! Mike was adored by everyone who new him.

He is survived by his sister, Saundra, children; Kevin Garner, Tom Garner and Michell Kelly, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Callahan Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Rd, Grand Junction, CO on November 10th at 1:30pm. Viewing from 1:00- 1:30. Feel free to wear Bronco style attire or colors. Burial will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction on November 22 at 1:00 PM
