Paris, even though I did not know you, you were called upon well before your prime. You were a unique and remarkable gentleman who was adored by your family and countless others, may you find peace now and rest in loving memory.

I had the pleasure of knowing Paris at Tabernacle Baptist and we enjoyed some great times as friends and teammates in school sports. It is both with sadness and joy that I hear about Paris going to be with the Lord. Sadness that I didn't get to experience his growth with the Lord and see him grow to be the man he has become and Joy to know I will see him in heaven and catch up on our childhood.

My only interaction with Paris was through funerals. I had the "privilege" of hearing him speak at memorials and he always handled these painful times with grace & mercy that truly reflected the heart of our Savior. There was one loss that I suffered in 2009, a dear friend was gone from earth & Paris was a phenomenal comfort & speaker of truth to me in that time. I was blessed by his boldness but more so by his humanity & affection. Jesus with skin on. No man is perfect. No pastor is perfect. Perfection was never his goal, as far as I could tell, love was. It's so refreshing in a time such as this to encounter a human whose purpose is love. I wait expectantly with you for the time that is to come, when the ultimate restoration will come-as it is promised. I pray that in days ahead, your family is held close, overwhelmed by the Spirit that was left to us; the Spirit that drove & sustained Paris. May peace that surpasses all human understanding envelope your family. Know that I am better for the moments I spent in his presence, as are multitudes of others. I can't wait to meet him again under rainbows, dancing with Jesus. All of my love to you.

What do you say about a guy like Paris Wallace. He was a lot of things to a lot of people. He never met a stranger and was an awesome, kind and caring person and my Pastor!
He would not want us to be sad he is not among us because he has reached his final reward and he is very happy to be with his Lord and I am sure the Lord said to him "Welcome good and faithful servant."
All I know is I will miss him always and forever!!! Until we meet again........
