Warren Barnes Obituary

Warren Barnes

May 19, 1951 - February 27, 2021

Warren was a lifelong resident of the Grand Valley who was well known and respected by the community.

He loved the outdoors and nature and spent many hours watching and feeding birds and was also an avid reader.

He leaves behind many family members and friends who loved and will miss him dearly. He is survived by brothers, Gene, Lee, and Dean, sister, Gerry, as well as many nephews and nieces.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elva Barnes, and brothers, Clearance (Jay), Jim, Vernon, and Dale.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Warren Barnes memorial fund at Catholicoutreach.org or send donations to Catholic Outreach, 245 S. 1st Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501.

I am sorry, Mr. Barnes. I just saw a story about this on TV, and I can tell that you were loved by many. I lost my mom to cancer many, many years ago, and I always told her, "I love you and I will be missing you until Jesus comes." Your family loves you and will be missing you until Jesus comes. Someday, you will be made whole again. Rest in peace.
