Connie Louise Loar, 68, of Beaverton, MI passed away peacefully on April 20, 2021, at her home with her devoted husband by her side.

Born in Midland, MI on May 15, 1952, Connie grew up with her seven siblings on a farm in Beaverton. After graduating from Beaverton High School, she married Terry Loar on June 3, 1972. Together they built their home, the site of many joyful family get-togethers in Beaverton.

Connie's zest for life animated every gathering. Her numerous nieces and nephews enjoyed afternoons of sledding, hay and ATV rides and swimming in the pond. She possessed wonderful energy, an ever-present smile and relentlessly upbeat attitude. Connie rarely missed a birthday or family celebration and was a generous caregiver to her family and many others.

Connie was always ready for adventure, whether a cross-country trek on a motorcycle with her husband Terry, or, in later years, heading south to soak up the sun. Connie loved listening to music and had a flair for fashion. She will be profoundly missed.

Connie is survived by Terry Loar, husband of 49 years, siblings: Nancy Kelley of Midland, Edward (Tammy) Owens of Beaverton, Robert (Debbie) Owens of Beaverton, Sally Fisher of Scottsdale, AZ, Janice Owens of Toronto, Canada, Hugh Owens of Alexandria, VA, and sister-in-law Robyn Owens of Midland. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

She is proceeded by her parents: Lawrence (Pat) and Joan Owens, and brother: Rick Owens.
