Michael Thomas Garber

1977 - 2021

Michael Thomas Garber, 43, of Niagara, ND, died and was sealed to his eternal destiny on February 19, 2021, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family as he peacefully departed from this life in Aneta, ND.
Michael was born on September 13, 1977 in Midland, MI, the youngest son of Richard and Theresa (Sloan) Garber, formerly of Gladwin.
Michael married his precious wife, Sarah (Baker) Garber (daughter of Jan and Mary Baker of Bronson, FL) on November 9, 2007. Together they had two beautiful little girls, Michaela (6-years-old) and Alison (4-years-old).
Mike was a shining star in his large extended family. Gentle, kind, loving and talented, as he entertained the family with his fabulous rendition of the Scotsman's Kilt song, along with other much loved family tunes. Mike loved his big family and he will forever occupy a special place in the hearts of all. His name will be spoken at every gathering as he is lovingly remembered.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Bernice Sloan, and Les and Carolyn Garber, all of Gladwin; and his father-in-law, Jan Baker of Florida.
Left to cherish Michael and everything he meant to his family are his wife, Sarah; and daughters, Michaela and Allison; his parents, Richard and Theresa; his brother, Rick (Asenath) Garber of South Bend, Indiana; his sister, Lisa Garber of Dayton, Ohio; mother-in-law, Mary Baker; nieces and nephews; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends (especially Dave LaForge, Brock Hetherington, and Aaron Holdwick); along with his extensive church family.
